Hi Sue,

Thank you for coming over..You are right! I am fortunate to be here...Spring season is on here and every wild flower is in bloom along with the cultivated ones...

I have tones of pictures of wildflowers too...shall post them too...

Spring is probably starting in the colder places now...but dandelions already..:)

Hi Sayileela,

Austin weather might be a bit too hot for them..  Those bulbs are very finicky and need the ideal temperature and soil..
Thanks! :)

Thanks Kals,

Those Ranunculus seem a little hard to take care since they need ideal conditions. My son bought a bunch of bulbs and planted them. Every morning he goes and looks at the pot :) :)
Thanks!

Blizzard : Beautiful pictures, life would be so much fun if we were surrounded by flowers all the time :-)

Those are beautiful pic. When they have so many flowers, how come the flowers are very expensive in US?

In India, @ Hyderabad in the season we get more than 100 roses for 10 Rs, and in US  A bunch of 12 roses costs us from 14 to 16 $.

Hey Blizzard.

The pictures are so wonderful!
We lived very close to the Carlsbad flower fields! During the early years, we used to make frequent trips. Later on, we just enjoyed the flowers from the streets. They are visible from far. I bought a few bulbs and they grew one year. But I am such a bad gardener, they decided to go back into the soil and remain there! Oregon has many beautiful flowering trees now. But our spring has started very late and I am not sure how soon the summer heat will begin. Such beauty can wither away soon!

Glad you brought back mmemories for me. In fact keep posting more pictures from San Diego frequently! I will definitely enjoy them all.
Cute picture of you and your kids there!Love the hot sun!

Blizzie
Truly, a lovely sight! The rows and rows of flowers reminded of lavender and tulip fields. The CA fields are a tribute to people's perseverance in greening a desert. Like Sue says, you are lucky to be living in CA.

Thanks for sharing nature's bounty.
